Making a difference with your time and expertise

There are a number of ways you can directly support young people and their local community to achieve, thrive and flourish.

Perhaps you have some spare time to volunteer to support one of our project sessions (it’s a lot of fun!) or maybe you have a skill, ability or knowledge that others might enjoy or benefit from. Perhaps you would like to give some time in a mentoring role or have opportunities for young people or wider community members to gain experience in your business?

Making a difference financially

We routinely work with young people and communities who have little or no resources. You may like to help support a young person in a practical way to enable them to benefit from activities that they might not normally have the opportunity to participate in. This could involve helping to cover the costs of essential equipment or supporting wider project activity to enable more young people and community members to take part.

Did you know that…

£75 buys 5 young people an ATF shirt which strengthens a sense of pride, belonging and self esteem

£210 provides a vulnerable community member with 6 sessions of expert mental health and wellbeing support

£600 buys quality equipment to enable regular community fitness sessions with many at-risk participants

£2,000 = 40 fitness sessions for young people at risk

£6,000 per year enables a young person to complete an apprenticeship, achieving a multi sport coaching qualification and positively impacting the direction of their life

£26,000 per year employs a high quality Community Coach to work intensively with and improve outcomes for vulnerable and at risk young people & families in disadvantaged areas

However you might like to get involved, we would love to hear from you!
